Easter 2009

This was Allie's first Easter and there was alot of celebrating. We opened the Easter basket and Allie loved pulling everything out of the basket. She got some chocolate bunnies, sunglasses, a sundress, and some books. After we opened the basket it was off to Grandma and Pa's church. Allie did really well but she kept Grandma and Becca busy. Then we went to Grandma's and Pa's for lunch and an egg hunt. Lunch was really good. As Allie was eating her lunch, she was saying "mmm, mmm." It was really cute.

Then we opened our baskets from Grandma and Pa. Allie got a stuffed bunny, another chocolate bunny, and books. Then it was outside for the egg hunt. Allie just started walking the Wednesday before Easter so she was able to do a little egg hunting. My Dad hid a few eggs just for Allie and Thomas. The eggs were just lying in the grass. Kevin asked Allie if she could find any eggs. She started looking around but couldn't find any. So, Kevin showed her a couple. Then she figured it out. Allie started picking up the eggs and putting them in her basket (of course, she had to taste them first.) My mom made some fabric eggs that were the perfect size for Thomas and Allie. Allie found about 4-5 eggs and then was really interested in taking the eggs out of the basket and putting them back in. We had a great Easter and were really tired at the end of the day. Allie fell asleep in her carseat on the way home. That evening we gave Allie a few bites of one of the chocolate bunnies and she loved it!!
