This past Sat we decided to do a quick day trip to the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga. We got up and had breakfast, played for a while and then headed out. Thankfully, Kevin and I had planned it right and Allie slept most of the way. So when we got there, we were ready for lunch and the aquarium. Allie really liked seeing all the fish. It wasn't crowded so she was able to run around a little and walk holding our hands. There was a big tank with lots of fish in one of the buildings. Allie was right up on the glass looking at all the fish and a scuba diver swam right in front of her and started waving. Allie got really scared and was a little nervous at the next several tanks but after snack she was better. In the Ocean Journey building, there was an exhibit of jellyfish. It was really cool to see all the different kinds and sizes of jellyfish. After doing both buildings, Allie played in the water outside of the aquarium. Allie loved this!! She was SO wet afterwards. I thought there might be water to play in so I brought some extra clothes for Allie. After such a great day, Allie slept the whole way home too and was still ready for bed after dinner. It was a nice getaway!
