Why we have been so busy.

Kevin and I have been so busy over the past month. We have been house hunting, hunting, and more hunting. We probably looked at 15-20 homes in south Nashville. We went last weekend to look at homes. We saw this one and just loved it. It sits on a corner lot. There are 2000 square feet with 0.18 acres. This is the front of the house. The front is brick and the back and sides are siding. This is the back of the house. There is a small deck that comes from the living room. There is a breakfast area that has a lot of windows. If you look closely on the roof, you will see the skylight that is in the master bathroom. I really liked that. It is directly above the bathtub. The other window is in the 3rd bedroom. There are 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths.





This picture is taken from the front door. If you look right there is a formal dining room. The dining room also has a doorway into the kitchen.




This picture was taken from the same place (the front door). Except, the photographer is looking to the left. There is a gas fireplace. The walls look yellow but they are really a neutral color. There are some stairs to the bedrooms straight in front of the front door. That is what the handle is in the bottom of the picture. The doors in the background go out onto the deck.





Here is the kitchen. The breakfast area is to the left of the edge of the picture and the dining room door is to the right. There is a half bath between the living room and the kitchen.




This room is our favorite room. It is a rec room over the garage. It is huge. The rec room stairs are off of the kitchen. We really wanted a room like this.







All the pictures except the rec room are from the downstairs. There was a master bedroom picture but it didn't do the room justice. The bedrooms are upstairs not connected to the rec room. The master bedroom has a huge walk-in closet. I hope everyone can come see the place after we move in (in a few weeks)!
