Leah is 1 Month Old!!!

Leah fell asleep in Allie's arms.

She was so proud and watched Leah

sleep for a while.

Just in case she needed something.

Leah loves being all wrapped up.

It doesn't matter what the weather is outside.

It is tough being 1 month old. :)

Leah was 1 month on 9/8! The month of August flew by. She is now 8lbs 12 oz and 21 inches long. Leah has gained 1 lb and grown 1 inch since she was born. Our pediatrician says she is growing perfectly.

For the first few weeks Leah had her days and nights mixed up. Now she is getting on a more normal schedule. She gets up about 1-2 times a night and then gets up between 5:30-7am. When Leah is awake, she plays in her gym, does tummy time, kicks her feet and waves her arms (she loves this), plays in her bouncy chair, or just sits on my lap and we talk. Leah also takes bottles which is very helpful. Her favorite thing is being wrapped up really warm! She will want to be in a big blanket even if it is really hot outside.

Allie loves helping with Leah. During diaper changes, Allie climbs up on a chair and will hand me a diaper and then sing, talk, or just hold Leah's hand. When Allie and I are around town, Allie announces to people that we have a baby. She is so proud! I have noticed when anybody besides our family holds Leah, Allie keeps her eye on them. She is very protective. Last weekend, Allie and I went to Nashville Shores for the afternoon. It took us about 5-10 mins to leave because she was busy telling Kevin all the things to do if Leah starts crying. It was so sweet.

Things are going really well. Leah is a sweet little girl!
