This morning was Generation Day at Allie's school. They had a small program and all the classes sang songs for the guests. The preschool class and the Pre-K class preformed together. Allie did great! When she first got up there Allie was smiling so big (not nervous at all but excited). The 2 girls standing next to her are in her class. There are also several other kids in her class but they either weren't there or didn't want to sing in front of everyone. After the program, we all went to the classrooms. Mrs. Akers had a project for us to do. We painted leaves and used glitter to decorate them. She said she was going to hang them up on the wall. It was a fun project for the kids to do with their parents or grandparents. Then it was time to go to the gym for the book fair! Allie had been looking forward to going since Tuesday. Yesterday, she actually came home with a "wish list" for the book fair. I love that Allie loves books this much. As we were going to the gym for the book fair, Allie showed me her pictures in the hall and was so excited about everything she had been working on. I was so proud of her today!
