Lots of Easter Fun!!

Easter Morning

Since we have several egg hunts, the Easter Bunny only brings baskets to our house. He leaves them at the table. Allie woke us up around 6:45am Sunday morning ready to go see her basket. We all hurried downstairs. Allie was really excited; and Leah was also pretty excited to see her basket. We had plenty of time to go through the baskets, eat breakfast, and then get ready for church.

For the past couple of years we have attended the Extravaganzoo event at the Nashville Zoo. We love going!! They have egg hunts all day and lots of games for the kids. They divide up the egg hunts by age and it works really well. Also, it doesn't matter how many eggs you get. Everyone gets the same prize bag. Allie had a good time grabbing the eggs and was running all over the field. Leah didn't get to hunt eggs at the zoo because you have to be able to walk and pick up your own eggs but she still had fun watching everyone. We spent several hours there doing all the games and the playground. We didn't go see any animals that day. :)

Church Egg Hunt

Hunting eggs so fast Mommy can't get a picture

Our church has an egg hunt every year. I tried to get some pictures of Allie hunting eggs here but she was going too fast for me to get a picture. It was a lot of fun!

After church on Easter Sunday, we went over to my parents' house for lunch and an egg hunt. My mom has made some cloth eggs for babies to hunt. I set Leah down right in the middle of some of the eggs and she just sat there. So, I helped her put some eggs in her basket. She really didn't care much about getting the eggs. She just wanted to watch Allie and Thomas running around.

We also had another egg hunt at school and Allie got a lot of eggs and candy. We had a great Easter!!
