Our 4 yr old!

Here what life is like with our sweet Allie. At her check up Allie weighed 30 lbs (20%) and was 38 3/8" (5%). She is still petite but her growth curve looks just right. Allie is growing and learning so fast!

Favorite Foods: pears, chicken pot pie, peanut butter and jelly, juice boxes, cheese, popcorn

Foods She Doesn't Like: raw carrots

Things Allie Likes to Do: swimming, playgrounds, dance, color, and crafts, video games (especially plants vs. zombies), going to the library

Favorite Toys: ipad, stuffed animals, Disney princess figurines, games, her tent, dollhouses

Sleeping: Allie sleeps just fine. She doesn't really nap. We just do about 1 hr of reading/rest time. During that time, she can read, do puzzles, play with her stuffed animals, or play with her dollhouses. Rarely, she falls asleep during this 1 hr. 

Favorite TV Shows/Movies: Dora the Explorer, Curious George, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Disneyland Sing a long movie, and Winnie the Pooh

Chores: Allie does have a few chores. She makes her bed every morning, gets herself dressed, and brushes her teeth. In the evening Allie lays out her clothes for the next day. She understands that for some days we have to wear certain outfits and other days it doesn't matter what she wears. (example: Sunday-Sunday dress or school days). After I wash her clothes, she will put them away. She also cleans up her toys every afternoon. 

Allie is so sweet! She loves being around people especially other kids. Her teachers have told me that if there is another child that is sad or upset. Allie will try to make them feel better. She is a very caring little girl.


Allie is always working on some sort of craft. I have started keeping her craft area stocked. She has glue, scissors, pens, markers, papers, etc. We always have tons of art work that Allie has done. She also enjoys writing. Allie loves to play with Sydney (her cousin). They will do crafts all day together!

Allie also talks all the time! She is very curious. I hear tons of questions a day but she also has lots of answers too. If you have a problem, she has a answer. It is a good thing for her to be so curious but there are times that I have to say I just can't answer another question for a few minutes. Haha!


Allie is a very good big sister. She is protective of Leah and tells everyone how old Leah is (of course she will ask me first in front of them). Allie and Leah play more and more together. They do tea parties, color, and play babies together. There are times when they both just start giggling/laughing. It is one of the sweetest things.

We are so proud of her! She is growing so fast!
