1st Bday Party

Allie celebrated her 1st bday last Tues. On her actual bday, She had her favorite food for dinner and then brownies with a candle. After dinner, we went for a ride in her new wagon.

Last Sat, we had Allie's bday party. During her morning nap, Kevin and I decorated the dining and living rooms. When she got up, she was so excited to see the balloons and streamers. She was running around pointing at them. Once everyone got here, Allie had a great time playing with her cousins Michael, Josh, and Kayla. Then we all sang Happy Birthday. Allie had a smash cake for her to eat at the party. Allie wanted nothing to do with the smash cake. She kept pointing at the big cake and saying "that." She wanted the big cake. So, we just gave her a piece of the big cake with some ice cream. Allie loved that. She was grabbing handfuls of ice cream and cake saying "mmm, mmm" the whole time. Allie had a good time opening presents and playing with her new toys. One of her gifts was a kiddie pool. So we put on her swimsuit and headed outside. Allie really loved playing in the water, splashing, and going down the slide. We were all very tired after the party but had a GREAT time!
