At the end of May, Kevin's parents closed on a house at Fernandina Beach, FL. This beach is found in northern Florida on Amelia Island. So, when Kevin and I went to Daytona we were able to go by and see their new house. We spent Sat afternoon and Sunday there. What a place they have! Location is awesome. It is about 1 1/2 blocks from the beach, 4 blocks from Dairy Queen, and the Jacksonville airport is only 45 mins away. The beach is nice, clean, and not crowded. The new house is not in the area of the island where the hotels are found. So, there are not very many tourist just locales. Allie loved playing in the sand, tide pool, and standing in the waves. We are so happy for them!
